Who We Are
About DotComMojo™
Neotrope's website promotion and keyword optimization services were originally developed in 1995 to help launch various e-commerce and web-based start-ups we were involved with (we built our first website in March 1995). The service evolved along with the World Wide Web, and became known as DotComMojo in 1997. Today, this technology is called the Neotrope ContextEngine™.
Over the past eight years we have achieved measurable successes for our clients, including top ten rankings under tens of thousands of desirable keywords and phrases. Many of our clients achieve top five and number one rankings in major search engine results due to our methods of website and keyword optimization.
In fact, as of this writing (July 2003), we are the only optimization company in the world with four listings in the top ten of Google's search results under the term "keyword optimization," including the number one spot. Because we use true content management techniques, we work within the "rules" of all major search engines. We studiously avoid trickery of any kind that can result in being blocked/removed, or having normal site rankings severely demoted. There is no other company out there with our expertise or documented track record in keyword optimization and search positioning.
The Magic + Science of Search Positioningsm
The "DotComMojo" name comes from our concept of applying a little bit of hands-on "magic" to the science of search engine positioning. The Random House Webster's Collegiate Dictionary defines "mojo" as: the art or practice of casting magic or voodoo spells. While we certainly don't practice any "black magic" in what we do, there is a certain finesse that goes far beyond any rote procedures in the process of achieving higher search engine rankings for desired keywords. We are not simply "button pushers" that use some off-the-shelf software package to achieve our ranking successes.
In addition to our DotComMojo™ search engine submission service, our premium services are called Dot.Sorcerer™ and Alchemy Positioning™ (keeping the magic+science theme). These advanced services take a more aggressive approach to keyword positioning, using the proven ContextXpert™ technology we've developed based on hundreds of client Internet promotion projects since 1995.
DotComMojo.com merged with Send2Press.com in August 2000 (read the press release for more info) because of the complimentary nature of those services. In September of 2002, we chose to move the DotComMojo service back onto its own dedicated website, which you are now reading.
